Printing ink is an important material used for printing, and it presents the pattern and text on the substrates by printing . Inks consist of main components and auxiliary components. Through even mixing and repeated rolling, it comes a viscosity slurry. It consisted of pigments, binders, additives and solvents etc. It is widely used for various kinds of printing such as books, newspapers, packaging bags, building decoration materials etc.

Printing inks are divided into letterpress inks, lithographic inks, gravure inks, and mesh printing inks.

Letterpress inks are divided into: stereotyped inks, copperplate inks, letterpress rotary inks, and flexible letterpress inks.

Lithographic inks are divided into: offset printing inks, web offset printing inks, flat offset printing inks, waterless offset printing inks, iron printing inks, lithographic inks, and collotype inks.

Gravure inks are divided into: engraving gravure inks and photographic gravure inks.

Mesh plate ink: transcription ink, screen ink.

Ink has different properties depending on the binder used. There are mainly resin-based inks, solvent-based inks, water-based inks and UV-curable inks.

Environmentally friendly inks mainly include water-based inks, UV inks, water-based UV inks and some alcohol-soluble inks.
